Ranger Naomi Boak stopped by the chat on Thursday, June 6, 2019 and posted that she and Ranger Christine had seen both a courting couple at Brooks Falls and two subadults in camp. Her attached photo of the courting couple did not post to the chat. "Hey Bear Fans. What a bear day. It is my day off, so Ranger Christine and I went to the Falls around noon. We saw a courting couple. I have a couple of pictures. I have no idea who the male is and the female looks like the sub with socks we've been seeing around the bridge and the Valley Road.
Late this afternoon two subs were running around camp and Michael Saxton had a really tough job getting them to leave. They just kept running in circles. Sorry, but I don't have any pictures -- too busy keeping out of their way. One was a very light blonde and very small. The other was about 1.5X her size and medium brown. I'm sure we'll get pictures soon. The weather has been unusually beautiful. Sunny and clear. That won't last. Mike Fitz will be here late next week. More updates when i can get to you."
