Where it all started ~ KNP&P Media Ranger Naomi Boak's Cabin Door:[]
It all started on June 17, 2021 at 16:53 when KNP&P Media Ranger Naomi Boak shared her afternoon arrival home to her cabin after her shift.
"No pictures. I just got off duty and went into my cabin. Left the wooden door open, screen door closed. A sub walked by slowly, looked in and kept on going. So great."
Then at 16:59, Naomi shared a photograph of her Brooks Camp cabin door.......
Who could have predicted that Ruxpin would take this to a whole new level?....
Thanks, Ruxpin...with 2021 holding 2020's beer...your fun and adventures were just what the doctor ordered! Laughter, you have given the much needed gift of laughter at a time when the world needs it the most!

At 17:13, Ruxpin revealed their cabin door upgrade for Ranger Naomi...a project Ruxpin was working on before Ranger Naomi shared the photograph of her real Brooks Camp cabin door.:
Within minutes, Ruxpin went to work....creating these....priceless photos and gifs (gifts)....such blessings! At 17:20 on June 17, 2021, 747 stopped by to visit Ranger Naomi Boak at her cabin:
By 17:49, Ruxpin had turned this into a bearcam community game:
"Ok, little game if anyone wants to play. Which would be the funniest bear to visit Ranger Naomi, and which picture of that bear would be the funniest. I think Holly stopping by like this would be hysterical"
At 18:19 Ruxpin found 747 with his bald wet butt visiting Ranger Naomi at her cabin.:
At 18:38 Ginray suggested 480 Otis would be an amazing visitor for Ranger Naomi and Ruxpin rolled with it! 480 Otis even brought snacks!:

Ruxpin caught one of Ranger Naomi's cabin visitors taking advantage of their socially distanced visit while also doing their shadowboxing workout...now Ranger Naomi finds herself completely thankful that she has not shared a photo looking from the shadowboxing bear's view into her cabin....because without a doubt there would be a gif of Ranger Naomi's side of their shadowboxing workout too!:

"Ok, so Sunday morning story time (Happy Father's Day to those to which it applies). So anyway, as most folks know our brave Rangers perform a process called hazing, which discourages an undesirable behavior in our beautiful bears. It's for their own good in the long run as it reduces potential negative interactions between human and bear. But not all Rangers are as consistent about hazing as they need to be.
Years ago in an attempt to keep diversity in the brown bear gene pool, a bear was transferred up from the lower 48. This bear had developed a bad habit. He was infatuated with people food, going so far as to steal it from visitors to the park. This issue persisted once he was transferred to Katmai, and now proper hazing had no impact as it was an ingrained behavior.
And to this day Ranger Naomi curses under her breath at the thought of Ranger Smith's lack of bear hazing."
On June 20, 2021 at 15:37 it was a gully washer and a frog strangler all mixed into one outside of Ranger Naomi's cabin.:
"We all know that Brooks is located in such a remote part of the country, with the only way in and out by boat or float plane. Sometimes the staff can feel isolated, and it's not a lifestyle everyone can handle. Some people adapt. Some people thrive. Some staff, like this gentleman, dance to pass the time. Seen here with a local variety of panda."
Charlie is passionate about the Explore.org mantra....NEVER STOP LEARNING! Well, Ranger Naomi should have known better than to fail to take Charlie and his wonderful team at Explore.org seriously....
When Explore hears you thought about not learning for a bit and schedules a house call. Also, I guess this was a Dutch door all along?"
Finally, On June 21, 2021 at 10:16, Ranger Naomi gets a brief break from her 2021 season cabin visitors....but a KNP&P Media Ranger's job is NEVER done (you know, kind of like that Charlie guy over there at Explore dot org with that NEVER STOP mantra...hey, Charlie must be on to something...look at all of us staying glued to the bearcams to learn more about these bears we love...heck...Forbes even says if you want to stay relevant, to never stop learning.)
One good thing about Naomi getting a cabin in camp is she can see Camp Movie Night without having to leave her desk. (Pay close attention to the campaigning for 32 Chunk details - THE GAME IS ON!!!)
Alaska doesn't have many thunderstorms. A quick google search shows about 30 thunderstorm warnings per year for the state. But when they do happen, some say that's when "he" is spotted. A clown with a white face and a red balloon. Unlike his infamous family member, Otiswise the Clown just wants to bring you a balloon.

June 23, 2021 was an extremely windy day at Brooks Camp. Ruxpin helped celebrate when the winds calmed. You just never know what you could possibly see next from Ranger Naomi's cabin view.:
In addition to capturing all of the 2021 season visitors to Ranger Naomi's cabin, Ruxpin also helps Ranger Naomi keep in touch with the subadults that use the river. On June 26, 2021 Ranger Naomi was enjoying a day off where she could spend the entire day outside looking for sockeye and bears. At 09:30 AKDT on June 26, 2021, Ruxpin put an alert (gif) out for all of the subadults to go say hello to Ranger Naomi on her day off.:
