2015 Bears of Brooks River book: 201 is a small adult bear. In July, she has long, blond and shaggy fur. In the fall, her coat is light brown, but the fur on her head and ears is grizzled brown. Her claws are dark and she lacks distinctive scars.
2016 & 2017 Bears of Brooks River books: 201 is a small adult bear. In July, she has long, blond and shaggy fur. In the fall, her coat is light brown, but the fur on her head and ears is grizzled brown. Her claws are dark and she lacks distinctive scars. #201’s face has a wedge shaped profile with a tapered muzzle.
Distinctive Behaviors:[]
2015 Bears of Brooks River book: This is a relatively inconspicuous female who often fishes at the cut bank and in the lower Brooks River in July. As a young female, she holds a relatively low position in the bear hierarchy and was even chased by #284. She is only infrequently seen in the fall.
2016 Bears of Brooks River book: This is a relatively inconspicuous female who often fishes at the cut bank and in lower Brooks River in July. She is also seen hovering in the riffles and around the fringe of Brooks Falls. As a young female, she holds a relatively low position in the bear hierarchy. She is only infrequently seen in the fall.
2017 Bears of Brooks River book: This is a relatively inconspicuous female who often fishes at the cut bank and in lower Brooks River in July. She is also seen hovering in the riffles and around the fringe of Brooks Falls. As a young female, she holds a relatively low position in the bear hierarchy. She is only infrequently seen in the fall. She was not seen in 2016.

(possibly 2015.06.30): Park visitor Spencer Paul (spaul102096)'s June 30, 2015 instagram post of video of 201 at floating bridge deck near the lower river platform. 201 was observed in the lower river area on June 30, 2015, but the video by Spencer Paul may be from a day earlier in June 2015.

201 was included in the 2016 Bears of Brooks River book on page 39:
201 was not observed during official bear monitoring session in 2016.

201 was included in the 2017 Bears of Brooks River book on page 43:
It does not appear that 201 was observed during official bear monitoring sessions in 2017. On September 5, 2017 Ranger David Kopshever commented to share a list of bears observed during official July 2017 bear monitoring sessions . On November 2, 2017 cam viewer Mazey commented to share an unofficial list of bears observed during official Fall 2017 bear monitoring sessions that Ranger David Kopshever emailed to her . 201 was not included on either of those lists for 2017 official bear monitoring sessions. If cam viewers or park visitors observed 201 during 2017 she was not identifiable to our knowledge.

201 was not included in the 2018 Bears of Brooks River book in the Adult Females section or the Bears No Longer Seen section. It is not known to us why she was omitted from the 2018 edition of the book.
