57 was initially observed during the 2019 season. She was classified as a borderline subadult/adult female at that time. We are awaiting additional information from the rangers about this newly identified bear.
Mckate's ID Tips: 57 has a long boxy muzzle, a prominent brow, semi-prominent hump, and beard giving her a were-wolfish appearance. Her ears are long, oval, and tipped with blonde. She is light to medium blonde on her upper body and has brown pajama pants through July and August. Later in the season she becomes dark reddish brown with a grizzled body suit and sports a red mohawk.

Mckate's Notes: "57 can often be spotted by her quick decisive movements. She doesn't dawdle! She can sometimes be a bit aggressive towards younger bears who annoy her, but is also playful with bears nearer her age. In 2020 she played with males and females alike including 27, 29, 610, 810(?), 821, and 831."

Modern Day Explorer captured multiple photos of what appears to be 57 in the riffles on 7/27/2019, #1?, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8 and #9.
2019.07.27-07.29: Modern Day Explorer uploaded a video of 57 on 8/24/2019. Modern Day Explorer's album photos are all dated between 7/27-7/29/2019 so it is assumed that this video was taken between those dates.
