Mckate's ID Tips: Like her mom, 384 has a prominent hump, small triangular ears, and a tapered muzzle. For the most part, her ears match her body color. She's quite blonde early in the season and darkens to a medium blonde by fall. She also has her mom's long bangs and goatee in the fall.

Mckate's Notes: Cubs raised in the extended 708 family tend to be somewhat introverted. This could be because the mothers don't allow them to socialize with other cubs, or maybe it's just a family personality trait. 284 did give her yearlings brief introductions to the 806 and 128 families in 2021.

So nice of him to get on the ground to seem less threatening, or is this part of a boar's courting behaviors to get the sow more habituated to him? Being 4.5 years old, 384 is probably experiencing her first estrus, and 912 eventually became interested in more than play, but she declined.:
