One Eared Bear, July 18, 2017:[]

In 2015 a bear identified by the rangers as bear 603 in some ways resembles this 2017 one eared bear. Here is one 2015 season NPS photo of the bear identified as 603 in 2015 for comparison .:

2017.07.14: On 7/23/2020 cam viewer JG shared 2 snapshots of an unknown sow that was observed on 7/14/2017. The sow has a light brown coat with blonde tipped, set back ears, a moderate hump and shaggy fur under the muzzle. The sow looked similar to one that was observed at Brooks Falls on 7/23/2020.
Who? Long Bodied Bear, Late July to mid-August , 2017[]

On 5/15/2020 JG shared a photo of a long bodied bear in chat. The photo was take between late July to mid-August, 2017. JG commented: "I wish I was ready to record this other bear in 2017 which is the strangest unknown bear I've seen in 4 seasons watching. Oddly long body and moving at a 480 pace." JG shared this photo.

2017.10.22: An unknown boar was observed on 10/22/2017 from 9:23-13:42, Explore Recorder video. The boar was medium brown, had a medium sized hump, rounded forehead, blonde wide spaced ears and a tapered muzzle. This boar was also believed to have been seen in October, 2020.
