Year First Observed: 2020 as an independent 2.5 year-old subadult, 2018 year of birth.
Year Last Observed: 2021
Offspring Of: The Bears of Brooks River 2021 eBook identifies 103 as the offspring of 402. That information is noted on page 31 of the Bears of Brooks River 2021 eBook under 101's Bear Book entry. "#101, #102, and #103 are all offspring of #402 from the same litter. #103 is male." There is however no way to really confirm the link between subadults to the mother and siblings without DNA results.

Identification:[]
#103 has a dark blonde grizzled coat and ears that sit on top of his head. Mckate's ID Tips: 103 has his mother's straight profile (with a bit of upturn at the end of his muzzle) and upright oval ears. He begins the season blonde and with a prominent hump which he retains. His body slowly darkens to a medium grizzled brown in fall. Mckate's 103 YouTube playlist.
Distinctive Behaviors:[]
#101, #102, and #103 are the suspected ofspring of #402 from the same litter. #103 is male. In 2020, he was seen frequently with his siblings. #103 is believed to have been seen in early 2021. Mckate's Notes: 103 spent most of his first year of emancipation in 2020 with his sisters. He also returned with them in mid-July of 2021 having finally overtaken them in size. He made at least one catch on the lip.
